Expense report templates
Use this when you need a blank or fixed reimbursement workbook first.
Open pageUse this page when you already have receipts, reimbursement notes, or an expense report draft. Messy2Sheet turns the source into reviewable rows, keeps missing receipt issues visible, and exports Excel or CSV.
Upload receipts or paste expense report text. Reimbursement columns and review notes are already filled in.
The source is a two-page student election expense report sample. The image below shows the receipt table on page 1; the full source text and CSV also include page 2 no-receipt and donated-material notes.

Source preview: page 1 receipt rows, buyer totals, and receipt subtotal $435.24.
The sheet separates buyer, date, vendor, description, amount, and receipt status. It does not silently approve no-receipt or donated material rows.
| buyer_name | expense_date | vendor | description | amount | receipt_status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| John Adams | 1/29 | Office Depot | 2 white poster board packs, 1 black poster pack | 15.26 | Receipt |
| John Adams | 1/30 | Home Depot | 5 blue tapes | 25.84 | Receipt |
| Jane Boone | 1/30 | Target | 8 metal color markers | 5.40 | Receipt |
| Jane Boone | 2/01 | Michaels | 1 banner paper roll, 2 brushes, 1 wrap | 20.17 | Receipt |
| Tom Card | 2/01 | Target | Ink for Epson printer | 18.56 | Receipt |
The source grand total uses $462.43 while the listed no-receipt items add to $17.19. The CSV keeps that mismatch in notes instead of correcting the report or approving reimbursement.
This URL should rank for turning messy expense material into a sheet. Template pages should rank for blank or fixed workbook layouts.
